Diego Guti is a visual artist born in Colombia in 1980, who trained academically between the MIU (Miami International University of Art and Design) and UdeA (University of Antioquia). The artist has been the winner of different awards and artistic recognitions in the United States and Colombia. The artist has carried out artistic works aimed at the intervention of social problems, promoted by organizations such as the UN (United Nations) and the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia. Currently, the artist is studying the Master in Latin American Cultural Studies, at the Pontifical Javeriana University in the city of Bogotá (Colombia).
Urban aesthetics and themes are predominant in the artwork of the artist Diego Guti, who reveals clear reflections about life on the streets and mass consumerism. The individuality of the human being approached from the reflection of the interests that we appreciate daily from each side of the social gap, is an important part of the artist’s inspiration.
