This is the second painting inspired by personal experience. Similar to Dreaming #1, I wanted to achieve a goal which I didn’t think was attainable. I would daydream about it. I would imagine I already achieved the goal and during this process it was exciting. Over time I achieved my goal. Daydreams are a powerful tool.
In this painting I wanted to create a dreamy but bright feel-good experience for the viewer. This is the second piece called Dreaming #2. It was created to compliment Dreaming #1 and to hang as a diptych.
There is a hidden frame for hanging on the back of the painting. This hidden frame allows the painting to float away from the wall. I have also attached wireless lighting to the back of the piece which allows for a glowing effect in the evening light.
