This is. watercolor painting, painting just before the beautiful festival of lights – Diwali in 2021. I was so wanting to paint something in warm and vibrant colors and I came across this beautiful picture of Red Poppies in a field. I chose to paint only three of those and decided to leave rest of all blended in the background. These three look so glorious and cheerful, and I am happy that I was able to achieve those contrasts and tones. The petals of each one of them look so playful and tender.
