This is a Pop Art style painted landscape of a very familiar intersection, Lake Avenue and Belleair Road. I have walked through this very spot hundreds of times on my way to Eagle Lake Park in Largo, Florida. There’s really nothing that special about it with the exception of my interest in all the criss-crossing lines of the crosswalks, telephone wires, street light cables and sidewalks. I organized all the chaos in my painting with the ultimate in vibrant color and striking composition.
