Minerals and sands from the southern Mojave Desert are used in the eclectic piece known as Mojave. The Latin proverb “Omne trium perfectum,” which means that everything that comes in threes is perfect, served as the inspiration for this artwork. The rule of three in unity is formed by the intersection of these three crystal channels. The sculpture highlights chrome additions throughout, right down to the crystals of desert rose on the rock structure. The rock structure surrounding the art is comprised of sands from the Mojave desert, selenite, quartz minerals and diamond glitter for strength.
