I have been painting professionally for more than 25 years and have been participant of numerous international art festivals and personal exhibitions in the US and Europe. My works are in private collections all over the world.
Encaustic is my favorite painting technique that uses colored molten wax as paint. I like the interaction between the artist and the painting in the process of creation. Hot wax is sensitive to the slightest movement of the hand. The image lives, breathes, and changes spontaneously under the influence of heat. However, the finished painting is practically eternal. The thousand year old paintings which we can still see today (for example, the Fayum portraits discovered in Egypt), are direct proof of this.
Each painting carries its own idea, which is transmitted through form and color. I created this painting in anticipation of spring, the smells of melted snow, wet earth, the young grass, and the first flowers blooming. This painting will add a sense of light and space to your interior. It does not need a frame.
