I’m primarily a Wilderness and Underwater Photographer but also take photographs of unique local attractions like the Washington, DC Monuments, the Cherry Blossoms, Antietam Illumination, and the Baltimore Grand Prix. They are all beautiful, spectacular, and lots of fun to see, shoot, and display.
Most of the photographs are taken during hiking, backpacking, backcountry skiing, and scuba diving trips to spectacular and pristine wilderness areas. I’ve been hiking, backpacking, and doing photography for most of my life. Locally I do a lot of hiking and photography in Shenandoah National Park, the George Washington National Forest, and the Monongahela National Forest. I have led hiking, biking, backpacking, and backcountry ski trips for local outdoor clubs for over 25 years.
