Artist Carola Orieta-Sperman's Amandla has a powerful presence, one that is magnetic, drawing the viewer in to contemplate the depth of her character and the stories she carries. She is not just a woman; she is a force, a representation of the enduring power of women throughout history and across cultures. Amandla is also a force in a new frontier: the fusion of art and Al technology, revealing a new frontier where creativity is redefined. Through the lens of Al, Orieta-Sperman's art pieces embody a harmonious blend of hand painting and technological innovation, inviting contemplation on the evolving nature of digital artistic expression. Amandla embodies the power of being an artist created AI image printed on canvas, then painted and finished with mixed media.

With a goal of information dissemination and enlightening a diverse audience on environmental issues, the Project also hopes to foster meaningful connections. By forging an extensive database, the aspiration is to spark dialogue and actively engage the audience, cultivate empathy and understanding, making the stories of those impacted by uranium mining resonate on a deeper level. With a narrative tapestry, weaving together personal stories and environmental concerns, the Project seeks to empowering the audience with a comprehensive understanding and inspire support for the Navajo people.

A once in a lifetime showcase of 32 Zozobra sculptures by 32 artists unveiled en masse at Art Santa Fe. In keeping with the Santa Fe Kiwanis Club's mission to help our community's children experience rich, inspiring, and culturally fulfilling lives, the 4’ statues were purposely crafted to be child-sized, inviting little Zozobra fans to engage with Old Man Gloom eye to eye. The statues join forces in a group exhibition during Art Santa Fe and for the first time since their unveiling in June are for sale. It’s an amazing chance to make a Zozobra your own while support the community, the annual Zozobra celebration, and the artist creators.
Is it the artists' creativity, the colors, the images, the messaging — or a combination of it all that draws us to an artist and their work? Meet these amazing artists and check out what's happening when some of them do live demonstrations:
