ART LAB: SECOND GLANCE — ART THAT MOVES YOU

Stop. Look. Then Look Again. Artists Carola Orieta Sperman and Christian A. Albarracín challenge expectations with work that demands a second glance.

  • Sperman’s Fragments of a City in Motion – NY Edition fuses photography and sculptural acrylic to capture the ceaseless energy of New York City. Iconic yellow taxis emerge through layered fragments, transforming the cityscape into a living, three-dimensional experience.
  • Albarracín, a Colombian artist from Bogotá, transforms paper into immersive 3D installations with his City Subjects series. He treats walls as active participants, turning everyday moments into visual poetry. Over eight years, he has honed a process that explores paper’s texture, weight, and resilience, creating works from 30 cm to 2 meters that interact subtly with their environment.

ART LAB: SOCIAL MEDIA SLAVE

In a world where perception rules and reality is optional, we scroll, tap, and react—but are we truly living? Juan Luis Perez's mixed media sculpture confronts the manufactured selves we perform online: filtered moments, staged emotions, pixelated shadows of our real lives. We call it connection, yet drift from humanity, chasing validation instead of understanding. Social Media Slave is both a warning and a challenge—an urgent reflection on how the digital age shapes, and sometimes erases, who we are.

ART LAB: SEASONS — FLEETING MOMENTS, TIMELESS EMOTION

Drawing on techniques inspired by the old masters, Alvarez Roure combines virtuoso draftsmanship with profound empathy, capturing the subtle expressions and gestures that reveal the soul of his subjects. Each painting is a quiet meditation on life, connection, and the fleeting beauty of each season. Don;t miss the opportunity to collect these masterworks!
