ART SANTA FE 2025 HIGHLIGHTS

Art Santa Fe turned up the heat for its 25th anniversary, lighting up the Santa Fe Convention Center July 11–13 with bold, contemporary art from around the globe. With 85+ galleries, publishers, and artists showcasing original work, the show floor buzzed with energy, sales, and collector excitement all weekend long.

BUZZWORTHY PROGRAMMING

The fair kept the momentum going with must-see moments—Spotlight Program standouts, interactive Art Labs, and our fan-favorite Meet the Artist sessions. Guests got up close with top talent, sparking conversations, inspiration, and unforgettable connections.

The Spotlight Program gave collectors an inside look at five standout artists and galleries, each presenting a site-specific installation that captured their unique vision. The 2025 Spotlight recipients included:

This year’s Art Labs featured a series of outstanding projects by leading galleries, art institutions, and art collectives presented on-site within the fair, and included Contemporary Art Gallery USA’s Taking a Second Look, the Redwood Art Collective, and the Santa Fe Gallery Association’s A Breath of Fresh Art!

Artists and galleries were presented special honors as recipients of this year’s Art Santa Fe Awards. This year’s proud winners were the following:

DIRECTORS AWARD: Contemporary Art Gallery USA and Dale Sumner

BEST INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITOR: Anatoliy Anshin and De Rae Monique

BEST BOOTH DESIGN: Santa Fe Gallery Association – A Breath of Fresh Art

BEST SCULPTURE EXHIBITOR: Morning Glory Gallery and Felicia

BEST NEW EXHIBITOR: Artemis Art Management – Jacqueline Rudolph and Vivo Contemporary

BEST SOLO EXHIBITOR: MCP2 Art Studio and Linda Roberts Photography

AWARD OF EXCELLENCE: Artavita / World Wide Art

SALES & SUCCESS STORIES

This year’s fair saw strong sales and commissions, along with impressive gallery placements for [SOLO] artists. Here’s a quick snapshot of some of the standout exhibitor sales from Art Santa Fe 2025.

 

  • Artavita / World Wide Art had a good show placing artists Qinqzhu Kin, Helen Jellestad, Sally Ruddy, Lucie Bowell, Marilyn Maxwell, and Cora H. Roth, among others.
  • Carmine Bilardello‘s Heart Collection stopped traffic and collectors took home Black Ducks, Random Sneakers, Rabbits, Ducks, and several others.
  • Chadwick Arcinue and his popular Chadwick Concepts were a hit, with Undercurrent, Still Shaped by Sand and Stone, Terrascape 3, and Terrascape 5 finding new homes at prices rangng from $1,800 to $8,000 each.
  • Cheryl M. Long‘s return to Art Santa Fe proved to be very successful with placements of Summer Sky, The Faraway, Into the Magic #2, Antique Frame Series, plus several prints, ranging in price from $389 to $5,900.
  • Contemporary Art Gallery USA celebrated their 15th year at Art Santa Fe placing multiple pieces by Carola Orieta Sperman, as well as pieces by Pepa Marin & Karen Davis, Serge Hamad, Lisa Cuscuna, and Luis Kaiulani with prices ranging from $3,500 to $40,000. Several additional sales and a commission were reported to have been made in the week following the fair.
  • Returning sculpture artists Craig Robb sold Defy the Languid   Moment and Awareness of an Ancient Existence.
  • David Disko’s booth was a popular destination with multiple works sold, including Agave Americana with Goldfinchand several others.
  • Dana Swedo rocked with collectors loving her works, including placing Tranquility and Autumn Sounds among others.
  • Second time exhibitor M. Tobias Hall had a great show, placing multiple pieces from his Landscape Collection including Diablo Canyon, Before the Storm, After the Storm, Jemez, and several studies and prints ranging in price from $350 to $4,000.
  • The Michael Gorman Gallery is keeping the R.C. Gorman tradition alive with his second showing at Art Santa Fe, placing Walk in Beauty, Xo Chii, Stiiyeet, Untitled, and Mutton Honey.
  • First time exhibitor Paal Anand Fine Art was pleased with sales of his Black Panther Prowls Ponte Vecchio, Mythiq Volume 1, Leopard Lays at the Parrocchia De San Stefano, Persephine and the Cheetah of Dionysus, Portrait of Medusa, and Andromeda Rears Pegasus, along with multiple prints.
  • Tlacaelel Trujllo y Fuentes placed several of his creative collages and prints, including Fantastic Purple, Swan, and Black and Tan.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! THE MEDIA BUZZED!

It’s no wonder — Santa Fe’s iconic Art Santa Fe returned for its 25th Anniversary  edition — and it had the media was buzzing! Media coverage included a shout-out in American Art Collector, Southwest Contemporary, SantaFe.com, Santa Fe New Mexican, Santa Fe Scoop, Santa Fe Tourism, and others.

We also reached more than 175,000 fans via social media, offering followers around the world up-to-the-minute event tidbits and photos on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Thanks to everyone liking and following us on our social media channels—we love keeping you engaged!
