REDWOOD ART PRIZE 2025 Terms & Conditions
Term:
The Redwood Art Prize conducted for Artexpo New York 2025 begins January 13, 2025, and ends February 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that he or she is 18 years old or older. Each image, up to five images, requires a non-refundable $15 submission fee per image.
Who may enter:
The Redwood Art Prize is open to individual artists who are 18 years old or older. Individuals affiliated with Redwood Art Group, including employees, volunteers, consultants, contractors, and their immediate families are not eligible for any prize. Redwood Art Group will determine winners’ eligibility in its sole discretion.
What to enter:
To be eligible, artwork submitted must have been created January 1, 2023, or later. The contestant certifies that he/she is the sole creator and copyright owner of the submitted artwork. Artwork accepted Media is defined as painting, sculpture, photography, digital media, mixed media, ceramics, printmaking, drawing, illustration, collage, fiber and textile art, glass art.
For artwork that contains intellectual property (IP), such as logos, images, people, and other copyrightable imagery, the artist must be prepared to provide a release from the IP rights holder to Redwood Art Group upon request. If the entrant is unable to provide all required releases, Redwood Art Group in its sole discretion reserves the right to disqualify the submission, seek to secure the required releases, or permit the submission to remain in the contest.
Artwork that violates or infringes upon another person's rights, including but not limited to copyright, are not eligible.
Copyright Information:
By submitting artwork for the Redwood Art Prize for Artexpo New York 2025, you are stipulating that you are the creator of the work and hold the copyright to the work. While you keep 100% of the copyright to the work submitted, you are granting Redwood Art Group a non-exclusive license to use the artwork in its submitted form, subject to re-sizing to fit the format of Redwood’s choosing, for publication on Redwood’s websites for as long as the websites exist.
Take-down (unpublish) requests
As a matter of editorial policy, we do not unpublish content. Please do not submit photographs you do not want published online. See Copyright information above.
