Dan Louth has spent most of his life as a software engineer and business owner. He has been an avid art lover his entire life and started painting and drawing about 12 years ago. He mostly paints with oils and tends to layer his paints to get the effect he likes. He is influenced by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, Mark Rothko, Joan Miro, Jean Michel Basquiat, and Banksy. While these artists’ works are quite different from each other, there are elements from each artist that inspire Dan to paint. He likes colors and spontaneity in a painting.
Dan studied art at Artis Anima in the San Francisco bay area and his artwork has been shown at several galleries and art shows throughout the San Francisco bay area.
