This is a 1:3 macro image of a banded coral shrimp shot underwater at night time. On night dives, you see animals that you don’t see during the day, and can get closer to them. To allow close focusing, an extension tube and framer are inserted between the camera body and lens. The long side is approximately 3” long in the scale of the shrimp. Shot on a scuba diving trip to Cozumel Mexico, off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula.
