This painting was done at the beginning of 2017, before the Passover holiday. It is a combination of the scientific theory of creation and the Old Testament way. At the bottom, it is all black and nothingness. Then God created a cluster of stars and in between these, God created the atoms. Here, I painted hydrogen, oxygen in the form of O2, carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur, which are most abundant in organic molecules that have to do with life as we know it on Earth. The molecules on the left side are glucose, lipid, and protein.
The yin and yang symbolize balance and equilibrium. I painted it blue and brown, representing heaven and earth. The candle represents light, wisdom, and unity. In the Bible, we read that heaven and earth were all mixed up together until God separated them and gave them borders and laws to act on each other. That’s how I painted the bottom of the candle: water in the middle of the fire mixed with earth. On earth and life, in particular, there are times of rush and change, the same as a waterfall and river that change the surface of the earth and times of tranquility as a peaceful lake. The timeline of the painting is the sunrise of day six of the creation.
The Hebrew writing on the bottom means ( in the beginning, God Created)
