Kateryna Kurylo is a professional artist living in Toronto, born in Ukraine. She paints in oil, acrylic, egg tempera – landscapes, portraits, abstract, iconography and creates figurative clay sculptures casting in metal.
The winter landscape series of 14 pieces, completed within 2 years, were inspired by photography the artist took during an ice storm in Toronto, Canada. This series captures frozen nature and are all painted in oil on gesso boards.
