THEODOROS NIKOLAIDIS – a greek artist based and grown up in Germany. He recognized his passion for painting in his early years as a child. He is dedicated to the ancient Greek legends and myths and puts his artwork in the form of gods and animals into the modern era, mystical and full of passion. He is smart, high sensitive and full of empathy. At his young age of 25, he’s been exhibiting his paintings all over the world.
He comes from a simple family house and grew up with 4 siblings. He found his way to art very early on and spent most of the time with a pencil and brush. From a very early age, his life was shaped by colors and visions, which he realized through his art.
With his art he would like to create a connection between antiquity and the past with modernity. His motifs are shaped by ancient and mystical motifs, which he translates into modern times. Likewise icons, people and characters from the field of mythology, comics and much more. He implements these in a modern form and tries to get the viewer to identify with his works of art and to build a personal bond. “I want to create a form of art that reaches each individual independently of culture, origin and politics. A form of art that does not adhere to structures and laws, but is completely pure and limitless in its form for everyone. My motto: In art everything is possible and everything is allowed!“
His “Animal Series” primarily depicts animal spirits, beings and figures that trigger a certain meaning for the viewer from different cultures. This series represents a number of numerous motifs that are timeless, expressive and, above all, exclusive. He attaches great importance to detail, diversity and exclusivity, which are reflected enormously in his works of art. The purpose of this exhibition is to show the viewer how much work, time and, above all, strength I put into my art. It will be a series that I will continue in a timeless manner, but in which every single picture will remain individual and exclusive.“
