I have been photographing seriously since 2002, starting with film and moving very quickly to digital imaging. In 2006 I decided that photography was not enough and began painting my images, printing them in black and white and using water colors to enhance the image. All my images can be seen at www.patriciagilmanstudio.com. In 2017, I took this one step further and started designing textiles made with my original photographs. These textiles are available at www.pgstudiotextiles.com.
The image of the blue daiquiris, taken in 2008 in Cuba, is sized at 18×24, printed on Eposn exhibition fiber paper, archival mat and what wood framed (frame size is 20×26). It is also available 18×24 printed on aluminum – the price is $650.
The image is available in a variety of sizes and a variety of printing processes and priced accordingly: paper, matted and framed, or just paper unframed, printed on canvas or on aluminum. Each framed image is finished with Plexiglas. It is also available on various textiles.
