This abstract piece was inspired by my kayaking this summer on an amazing lake.  I love kayaks due to their ease and lightness.  I was caught by the number of canoes on the bank of the lake.  They are heavy and abandoned.  The painting evokes the beauty of the lake with a slight hint of the canoes.
