“Close 2” is the second diptych painting in a series of paintings focused on our human need for touch.  It is especially evident during this difficult time of Covid 19 when we must self isolate and practice self-distancing, yet we crave human touch.  Research show that babies will stop growing and even die if they are not cuddled and hugged.  Touch is not a luxury-it is a necessity.
