A few years ago I got inspired by American artists of the 1850-1900 era. masters such as Thomas Cole, Francis Church, and Albert Bierstadt.
This work is a reproduction of Thomas Cole’s painting. He used to travel a lot to upstate New York Catskills area and did a few other paintings representing landscapes and waterfalls.

I fell in love with this painting when I saw a photo in an art book because of the fall foliage landscape and the force of nature in the gray clouds.
I hope the viewer feels a sense of awe for nature.
