I may have gotten the idea for this painting from Louie Vuitton Art Museum. But I was trying to capture a three-dimensional, half-solid green marble structure as it is closest to the view on the top left side and far on the right. This object is twisting to avoid collision with a solid ball made of gold, silver, and copper. Basically, I wanted to capture the movement of the ball toward the object and the point of collision which is a darker area on the side of the structure. there are not that many paintings in the market with purple backgrounds, so I chose that to be a more unique painting. Green, blues, and wooden browns are in harmony with the background.
The top left has enough weight to counter the big empty space on the bottom right. some viewers may view this a as collision between two different worlds.
