From the “Dreaming” series, inspired by the flashes of light through the profusely blooming tree of the same name. When I was painting, I was dreaming of standing on the cliffs of the north shore of Kauai, the petals of the tree lightly floating on the breeze, the smell of ocean in the air . . . I had transformed that moment into one of sublime beauty and peace. I offer this as a way for others to transform their moments into one of beauty and peace.
