The artwork is encased in Plexiglass, a permanent exhibition media, and an increasingly used element of home decoration and interior design. It is highly decorative on walls. The technique used in plexiglass is a special method of placing an individual art print of a painting on the plexiglass. It is tightly fitted in front of the print, so the image gets special depth, vivid colors, and sharpness.
The direct fitting/gluing of the front surface of the print to the back surface of the plexiglass eliminates the light reflection experienced in the case of glass used for traditional framing, and it increases the sharpness, contrast, and color saturation of the image. When the light penetrates the layer of acrylic glass, the reflection of the light from the print creates a completely different effect than with traditional framed glass.Â
This Plexiglass artwork is equipped with a hanging frame on the back so that it can be hung immediately on your wall. This rear hanging frame is covered by the artwork, so it remains invisible to the viewer. The hanging frame keeps the artwork “away” from the wall as it was floating. Please make sure that the wall fasteners (screws, hooks) are strong enough to support the weight of the artwork.
