A homage to immigrants coming to America. The screen in the middle is what immigrants see and the reality of the Statue of Liberty symbolic of the current state of America is on the other side.

I have been an artist all my life. I realized I was an artist when I was nine years old. I have done many forms of art throughout my 70 years of existence. My newest paintings are inspired by politics, pop culture, the internet, computer culture, personal experiences, and history. I develop my ideas on my computer primarily using Adobe Photoshop and then transfer those ideas to a wood panel to be painted.

08-22-2017 is a homage to immigrants coming to the U.S.The screen in the middle represents a reflection of American Freedom of immigrants’ see and the reality represented by the Statue of Liberty. The glass represents both the dream and a barrier to the dream of American freedom. The glass is also symbolic of the current state of America and the lack of political will to resolve the border crisis.
