These unique wire pieces are full of imagination, wonder, and delight. Each one is individually hand-crafted with steel wire. The color is added through a novel technique of applying gloss gel medium to a taped-in area, allowing it to dry until it becomes a clear surface on which to paint, then painting the color on the reverse side of the sculpture. Resin is added to the front of the colored areas.
JP’s work has been collected by Children’s Hospitals in Toronto, Ontario, Palo Alto, California and Cleveland, Ohio. His pieces are in collections from coast to coast in the U.S.A. and Canada, as well as in over 20 countries worldwide.
