My “In the Wild” series juxtaposes art and muse; the medium of painting photographed within the vast, natural landscape that inspired it. We’re at a pivotal moment with our environments and Earth’s natural resources. This body of work is about fragility, impermanence, and gratitude. I’d like to encourage the viewer of these photographs to take pause and consider these realities, maybe even be motivated to take action. But ultimately, I want each piece and its environment to work together to create a beautiful homage to Mother Earth.
