Malahide Castle is a lovely place on the east coast of Ireland, just outside Dublin. The placement of the tree caught my eye, standing there regally spreading it’s branches.
This photograph has been created as an infra red image. The image is also available in black and white infra red.
I have been photographing seriously since 2002, starting with film and moving very quickly to digital imaging. In 2006 I decided that photography was not enough and began painting my images, printing them in black and white and using water colors to enhance the image. All my images can be seen at www.patriciagilmanstudio.com. In 2017, I took this one step further and started designing textiles made with my original photographs. These textiles are available at www.pgstudiotextiles.com.
