The idea of this painting is taken from Mammoth Hunters story series book 2 by Jean Auel. In the story, Ayla lives in a cave alone until she met Jondalar injured near her cave, and she tended to him till he gets well. Ayla had a blue fur dress that she dyed sky blue for special occasions and rituals at the time she was leaving with a clan of the cave bear. Jondalar wearing brown fur. Although they are not seen in the painting, but they are looking out the valley at a mother and baby Mammoth. there is a feeling of warmth, love, and security in the painting.
