My inspiration for this series of pieces is the full spectrum of color. I wanted to use every color on hand to create a happy and cheerful painting. I applied rich jewel tones and bright colors to convey a joyful feeling. I used several layers of acrylic paint to achieve a rhythm and balance that is pleasing to the eye. The colors bordering one another are carefully chosen and layered to create a slight tension with overall harmony.
