Japanese artist, Ryusuke Yamagiwa was born in 1984 and grew up between Japan, Australia, and Canada.
He graduated from Waseda University, Faculty of Political Science and Economics in 2007, and Musashino Art University, College of Art and Design Correspondence Course, Department of Painting in 2012.
He is an awarded artist and has had solo exhibitions and group participations in the United States, France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, China, and Japan.
The theme of Ryosuke’s artwork changes from time to time, however at the base, it has an interest in “time”, and is interested in the transition and the passage of time.
