In my recent series of paintings, I have been exploring the concept of neutrality, by painting neutral figures in the same poses and compositions as my other works, but without faces, and with balloons replacing their heads. These balloons represent the universality of human experience, and the sense of lightness and joy that comes from embracing our commonalities, rather than our differences. Each of these paintings is a manifesto in itself, a celebration of the human spirit and the power of art to connect us all.
