There is always another side, another point of view, a different opinion. The sky and boat reflections in a calm water we always see is just one side. What’s on the opposite one? It it also a mirror?
One day I went underwater and instead of photographing models started looking up, at their reflections in the inner water surface.
Water ripples break inner surface into liquid shards, the bent pieces of what would be reflected in a wall mirror. Put together they form a new picture, the one compiled by a liquid mirror. You may say the surface movement is totally chaotic, however; looking at the reflections I can’t stop feeling the presence of an intelligent mind.
Some reflections leave you wonder: what was that? Was it a lightning, a nearby fire or some crazy hot girl with the water boiling around her red hair? Now she’s gone. All she left was a reflection of a spark.
