These trucks are representative of an era when vehicles were simpler and the owners were determined hard-working pioneers. Three of the trucks painted in this series are located in Colorado and one is on our farm. I love the patina on old trucks, their multi-layered paint colors, their dents and all of their imperfections. Each has character and I hope I captured that in this series.
