“Self portrait ” was created in 2024 by master oil painter René Cheng.

There exists two self-portrait of Cheng. The first one,  he created in pencil for his mother in 1978 and this one in 2024 (age 59). He used opposite colors to create a bigger contrast, nevertheless he intentionally lets the figure “faint” into the abstract background. Again Cheng plays with different movements…
