The inspiration for this piece was a fresh take on a mid-century modern color palette. I chose a selection of vintage ephemera with retro tones, muted hues and neutrals to achieve a rhythm and balance that is pleasing to the eye. The colors that border on one another are carefully placed and layered to create a slight tension with overall harmony.
