Inspired by Ray Bradbury’s The Martian Chronicles, a science fiction short story.
The artwork is mixed technique: I used as a base a gicléed canvas and painted on it with acrylic. This acrylic special granite paint stands out of the plane of the canvas and it has a rough surface as if you are touching coarse sand.
As canvas, the best quality matte painting canvas from the American company Breathing Color was used. 100+ years of archival life certified by an independent certification body. The canvas does not contain optical brighteners (OBA), yet its basic color is bright white.
The painting is in a modern, silver frame. It is ready to hang.
