In his work The Last Hope inspired by Da Vinci’s classic, the painter gives a contradictory image between a traditional representation and a perception
contemporary with the insertion of modern characters in the ancestral scene. The encounter between the sacred and the profane proposes a game of powers.
Will Pope Francis be able to reconcile the conflict? At first glance, that seems to be a sublime part of the work, but for the dog, who, indifferently, ridicules the
initial interpretation. The revaluation of the first look is the concept of Llópiz Forján in which the possible, the impossible, and the unexpected surprise the
spectator who is invited to reflect on his primary vision.
