This framed piece was created after I was in a hit and run on Highway 19 in Florida. I was visiting a friend and was on my way home in my car that I’d had since 2006. I was in the middle lane with an 18 wheeler behind me in the right lane and out of nowhere a car slammed into me on my left, taking out my side mirror and pushing me into the right lane. There are hidden images in this piece and if you look closely, you can see different things. I was very fortunate to not have been injured and kept thinking to myself, what if I was on a bridge over the ocean? This piece explores my mental state while I experienced this as well as what was going mentally while I was reflecting upon this experience.
