In this oil painting, I’ve amalgamated abstract and impressionistic strokes to evoke the untamed beauty of a serene landscape. My passion is channeled through sweeping violet mountains and a fiery red peak, symbolizing nature’s contrasting forces. Golden-hued flora stands vibrant against the earth, a testament to life’s resilience. Embracing this artwork in your home invites a burst of inspiration and a perpetual spring of contemplation and tranquility.
This is the sandy ground toward the Dart River (officially Te Awa Whakatipu from Māori: Te Awa Whakatipu) which flows through rugged forested country in the southwestern South Island of New Zealand.
I am a horseback rider. I imagine I am slowly walking my horse here and I feel the silence of the landscape, the breath of my horse, and the sound of his hooves on the soft ground. We are both thirsty, and patiently heading toward the river to quench our thirst, and then continue our journey.
