While living in Florida I was inspired to explore creating pieces influenced by the water element. This piece has a very calming energy, and while I was working on it I just imagined being surrounded by water, and emerged from my studio feeling as though I had been born from the water. This too is different from other works, and it currently is hanging in my dining room. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I come sit at the table and stare at this piece and I truly feel calmer after just looking at it, letting the soothing blues affect me in the most pleasant way. It reminds me of staring at a waterfall.
