My favorite painting style is classic realism oil painting. Many stunning works of the European Renaissance, for example, Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with the Earring, and William Adolphe Bouguereau’s Song of Angel will keep me captivated for a long time. I often think that in those days there were no videos or even color photos as a basis, and it was incredible that such exquisite paintings could be created only from memory and imagination. Especially those classic masters’ research on the portrayal of characters really made me feel totally enthralled. They even have extended the study of artistic creation to the field of medical science research.

Learning techniques is the basis for me to start creating. Portrait painting creation even needs higher painting skills. I painted these masterpieces for my respect for them and for studying them for the purpose of improving my technical level and experiencing the artistic conception in creation.
