I design and paint to keep my creative juices flowing, to keep calm, to be at peace, and to put me in my Happy Place. The medium I work most in is acrylic, but I have worked in oils. Over the last couple of years, I felt the need to be looser and freer with my paintings, so I began painting more abstract pieces, using colorful palette combinations. I have this one technique that I use on my abstract pieces, to give it another layer of character. I also like to paint the sides of my canvas to match back to the painting. I like to do this as I want my clients to have the option to either frame or unframed their purchased art. My art represents how I want the world to be “COLORFUL”.
