Through the years, she has continued studies and shown at art centers around the US. Joan has exhibited widely across the Southeast and in New Mexico, including Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, NC and Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC.
“My passion is for the natural world, and I am especially drawn to water, rocks and trees in their spectacular variety. I work in sculptural acrylics, with texture, color and shapes giving a three-dimensional effect. My works are inspired by my travels and enhanced by my imagination.”
