This is a 1:2 macro image of coral polyps feeding at night underwater. To allow close focusing, an extension tube and framer are inserted between the camera body and lens. The long side is approximately 2″ long in the scale of the coral. Shot on a live aboard scuba diving trip to Belize, Central America. The eastern coast of Central America has the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world and spectacular diving.
