“Dalia – Festejando a los muertos” was created in 2024 by master oil painter René Cheng.

Cheng painted this contemporary artwork, inspired by a photograph he took on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City on “Día de muertos” during the pandemic. You can see the joy of the young lady participating at the parade and a certain ironic fear celebrating and honoring the dead.
