This piece is one of a pair of paintings, inspired by the captivating New Mexico Landscape in early winter at dusk. It captures an open space area near my home through which the Santa Fe River wanders.  The painting was created with many layers, employing the use of mediums to increase its translucence and depth, alternating with thinned acrylic paint and drawing tools.
