This artwork is part of the “Old Sheet” art  series. The main principle of this series is the discovery and disclosure of only one media. It is a fabric  – just one plain old sheet. In this work the print of the  beautiful “Girl with a Pearl Earring”, painted by Johannes Vermeer was used.  Tatyana Zaytseva quotes the great artist, pays tribute to him, but she does it in her original style and form her point of view. She combines classical and contemporary art in one artwork.
