A panorama of the Pacific Crest Trail leading into and over Goat Rocks in the Goat Rocks Wilderness in Washington. The highest peak of Goat Rocks is about 8200′. This is a wide angle multiple image composite of the remains of an extinct, exploded, stratovolcano. The explosion would have dwarfed the Mt. Saint Helens explosion. Mt. Adams at 12,277 feet can be seen to the right – a possible indication of the former size of Goat Rocks.
