This artwork is a part of the Art series “Old sheet”. The main principle of this series is the discovery and the disclosure of only one media. It is fabric – one ordinary old sheet. The facial print of the beautiful Grand Odalisque, painted by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, is used in this work. Tatiana Zaytseva quotes a great artist, pays homage to him, but does it in her original style and combines classical and modern art in one artwork.
