The painting “Guitar’ is painted in trompe l’oeil with the idea to create such illusion as the subjects are not painted but they are just hanging on the wall. When I moved to the United States and saw several paintings of William Harnett in the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, I was inspired by his style and started to work on my series of trompe l’oeil. The painting “Guitar” depicts unique subjects of American music in 70s and is a wonderful piece of art for connoisseurs of music and visual art.
